Hurt N' Ernie and family joined the Santa Cruz Derby Groms family in 2017. His own derby experience began while practicing his skating skills with his daughters Vita Vendetta and Wrecking Belle, who are both Groms skaters. Having completed the Santa Cruz Derby Girls Bootcamp, he began coaching both Grommets and Home Teams. Ernie brings a fresh level of excitement for the game and commitment to junior roller derby.  His contribution to the league is much appreciated!
