How did you get started with derby?: "I got a pair of skates for my birthday. My mom started roller derby and I started shortly after."
Why derby?: "I’ve done all of the sports and don’t get the same satisfaction that I get out of derby."
What do you do outside of derby?: "Ultimate frisbee."
​Bio: Mockingjam is in her 4th season with the Groms. She started her derby life with the Silicon Valley Roller Girls, then transferred to the Groms to play with the Sugar Skulls home team followed by the Saltwater Sassies B-Team, and now the Gromshells. Ham always brings much hustle and wicked lateral blocking skills to stop opponents in their tracks.
