How did you get started with derby?: "My mom's friend was a Santa Cruz Derby Girls skater and introduced me to roller derby. She told me about tryouts and I went for it."
Why derby?: "It's just a lot of fun. I love it! If I'm ever feeling down, derby always makes me feel so much better."
What do you do outside of derby?: "Hang out with friends and go to the beach."
​Bio: sARI is in her 6th season with the Groms. She skated with the Bumper Scars home team, then the Saltwater Sassies B-team, and now the All-Stars. She can be found contributing to the success of her wall whether blocking or bracing, using her voice for on-track communication, and also for her flawless jumping skills.
