The Santa Cruz Derby Groms invite skaters, ages 7 to 17, to join us and try junior derby for a day. If you're interested in junior roller derby, but unsure if the sport is a good fit for your skater, then this event is for you!
We will provide a loaner set of skates and safety gear so your skater can give an entry level practice a try. Current skaters and coaches will provide basic skating instruction, a derby demo, and answer any questions you might have about purchasing your own gear and becoming a Groms league member.
When: Sunday January 12th, 2025, 2:00~5:00pm
Where: Santa Cruz Derby Groms Practice Facility, Scotts Valley, CA
Cost: $20, which will apply toward league membership fees if you decide to join us as a league member
