Coach Dan was first introduced to the Groms when his daughter Scooby Drew joined the Grommets in 2017. Eager to support the league, Dan began helping out as an official during scrimmages and games and became a Groms coach after completing the Santa Cruz Derby Girls Bootcamp in 2019. Outside of derby, Dan can be found out on the trails enjoying time on his mountain bike, and trying to complete his family's ever growing list of home improvement projects. We are looking forward to seeing how far Coach Dan takes his derby experience!
