The Grommets training program is tailored specifically for beginning level skaters who want to learn how to skate and how to play positional and light-contact roller derby. Grommets coaches Awesome Sauce, Eve L. Knievel, Ima Hotmess, Neoscorin, Scandium, and Vita Vendetta teach the foundation skills of derby skating and the game. Grommets skaters that have worked hard to improve their skills to become proficient on their skates will have the opportunity to join a Groms home team if they are interested in pursuing full-contact roller derby.
